On a good day my two forefingers whip around the keyboard like a couple of woodpeckers high on Red Bull, but for the last few days the animal simile that comes to mind is a couple of slugs. I learned long ago that I do not have the gift of putting out words about a piece of music if I am unable to fit it into a familiar pigeonhole. my reversion to invertebration is brought on by coming face to face with the works of Phillip Bimstein. There is nothing like them in my experience. So I am reduced to description without any solid footing.
